Welcome to Play On Purpose Academy. These policies are designed to ensure a consistent, respectful, and professional environment for all our students, parents, and coaches. By enrolling in any of our lessons or programs, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
1. Separation Fee Policy
If a student or parent decides to discontinue lessons or withdraw from the academy, a Separation Fee equivalent to 50% of the monthly tuition will be charged.
This fee covers administrative costs, schedule disruptions, and resource allocation.
2. Lesson Cancellation & Penalty Policy
- A student must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
- If two (2) confirmed lessons are canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, the student will be required to pay a penalty fee equivalent to the cost of one tournament entry.
- Frequent last-minute cancellations may lead to temporary suspension of lessons.
3. Attendance & Punctuality
- Students must be on time for all lessons, online or in-person.
- Delays of more than 15 minutes without prior notice will count as a missed lesson, with no refund or reschedule.
- Coaches will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes before marking a student absent.
4. Payment Policy
- All lesson fees are due before the first lesson of each month.
- Late payments may incur a 10% surcharge after a 5-day grace period.
- Lessons will be paused if payment remains outstanding for more than 10 days.
5. Code of Conduct
All students are expected to:
- Show respect to coaches, peers, and academy property.
- Maintain a positive and focused attitude during lessons.
- Avoid disruptive or disrespectful behavior, including verbal or written misconduct.
Violations may result in disciplinary action or dismissal from the academy.
6. Media & Image Use Policy
By enrolling, you consent to the academy’s use of photos or videos taken during lessons, events, or tournaments for promotional or educational purposes.
If you prefer not to have your or your child’s image used, please inform the academy in writing.
7. Refund Policy
- Fees are non-refundable, except in cases of medical emergencies or academy cancellations.
- Any approved refund will be issued as credit toward future lessons, not cash.
8. Tournament Participation Policy
- Students are encouraged to participate in academy-approved tournaments.
- Tournament fees must be paid in advance.
- If a student registers for a tournament and later withdraws without valid reason, the entry fee will not be refunded.
9. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy.
- Personal data such as student names, contact information, and performance records are collected solely for educational and communication purposes.
- Information will never be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law or tournament organizations (for registrations).
- You may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting the academy.
10. Communication Policy
- All official communication will be via the contact details provided (email, WhatsApp, or phone).
- Please ensure that your contact information remains up to date.
- Urgent updates, such as lesson cancellations or tournament reminders, may be shared via WhatsApp groups.
11. Health & Safety Policy
- For in-person sessions, students should be in good health and inform the coach of any medical conditions.
- The academy is not liable for injuries sustained during training, travel, or tournaments unless due to proven negligence.
12. Policy Updates
Play On Purpose Academy reserves the right to amend these policies at any time. Updates will be communicated via email or academy channels.
